Hi guys. I have a friend who cannot apply any eyeliner or mascara, her eyes start itching and watering. She can't stand it, soon she starts rubbing it off. Does anyone know of a good brand that has hypoallergenic products? Anyone ever heard of this?

I'm usually don't have any problems with my mascara but one of my friends does and she uses CoverGirl Lash blast mascara and I use it too, it says its hypoallergenic and it also is water and smudge proof and a really awesome mascara!!!! I don't have any recommendations on eyeliner but she might just need to try different kinds and see what works best for her!!! So I hope this helps!!

I had an eye infection once and I remember my doctor said use hypoallergenic product like Almay..not sure if their products are hypoallergenic because after my eye was better I just started using my usual make up products. But you should definitely look into that

Before trying anything else, I suggest she go to a dermatologist and get an allergy test to see if she's allergic to any ingredients in her eyeliner and mascara. Or yeah, maybe what she's using is too old. (Particularly her mascara.)

Physicians Formula have a great mascara! It's organic and has a little green leaf for a handle :) my friend uses it and usually has the same problem with mascara!
