I understand that technically this should go in the makeup section, but I wanted to try here first because maybe I'm more likely to get a better response from a skincare forum go-er? I dunno.
I've got a honking red pimple on my chin that I need to cover up when going to work, so what are your favorite concealers to cover a blemish?

For blemishes, I'm a huge fan of Mac Pro Longwear, and Kat Von D Lock it. Both are great, full coverage. However, if you'd like to get rid of the pimple, I suggest using a hot compress on it for about 10 minutes, and then using very clean fingers to pop it. Immediately wash your face and then put on a spot treatment like Burt's Bees Blemish Stick.

Mac made me break out horribly, so I use MUFE HD concealer! Love it.

Same here mac made my pimple grow in size... not cool! I prefer clinique acne concealer for raised bumps - it has green tint to it already and it color matches to your skintone perfectly - hides redness and really makes the bumps the same color as your skin - for acne scars I like MUFE concealer - its full coverage that won't budge all day long but can be a little difficult to work with sometimes so I also like the kat von d concealer another full coverage concealer that doesn't look cakey or feel heavy.

And popping cystic pimples is going to leave a scar so you definitely don't want to touch it until it comes to a white head - some things you can put on it to reduce the swelling n redness is tea tree oil - its known for use on mosquito bites n cystic acne responds well to it too - so you can dab some tea tree oil before concealer to help too.
