My hair is naturally black,I've done a lot of minor things to it as far as color but I'm dying to go blonde! Advice on damage and ideas on what shade of blonde I should go please,

You need to do it gradually because if you do it in one go it might only get to a ginger shade before your hair starts to fry. I would suggest going for a consultation at your salon to see if your hair could cope with the lightening process.

It took me a little over a year to go from natural black to a white blonde. I did my hair myself and once you've reached your desire shade are a shade similar use a going shampoo or if you still want to go lighter I recommend blonde hair dye. It'll still lighten your hair with way less damage. Be extremely careful when your hair is wet though the bleached parts will be extremely elastic like and it's very easy to break.
