So this extreme cold weather (which I'm sure many are experiencing right now) is really affecting my skin, especially my eye area. They burn and itch like the dickens! What should I do to help calm them down?

Eye drops could really help. they're probably just really dry from the cold.

There's an easy solution! Save your used teabags! Once your tea is done steeping, remove the bag and wring it out. Put it in either the fridge overnight or the freezer for 20 minutes. Hold it for a few minutes to each eye. This trick can be done prior to applying makeup for date night. Use your regular facial moisturizer under your eyes for further relief. Facial and eye creams are made up of the same ingredients, so you don't need to buy a special moisturizer.

Maybe you could try Oilatum if they sell it where you are. Could be mild eczema brought on by the winter weather.

My husband gets dry, flaky lids during this time of year. He uses Bobbi Brown Extra eye cream. It contains zero fragrance and its thick. I use it too if I'm going to use my undereye concealer. Great multi-tasker. Tea bags aren't going to do a thing for dry lids. Nor will a gel based eye product.
