My friend has the same problem. Every night she takes any kind of oil and puts it in her hair for ten minutes and lets it sit. Then she showers. And then she straightens it. It looks so cute.

^ maybe don't straighten it for the first little while until you get some moisture back in your hair.
heat is pretty damaging for the hair :/

Try new shampoo maybe. I had the same problem when I was younger. Then I started to use serum when I straighten my hair. Now it's gotten better.
