The winged liner has that little flick, like a wing. Which would be like the first few pictures Isabel posted.
A cat eye is when the liner goes out straight, no flick. It's more geometric, if that makes sense. More like what @Symone posted.
I do hear people use them interchangeably but there is a difference, and I don't think it needs to be black all around or have that little edge in the inner corner. Although that does make it look more cat like :)
