The difference between cat eyeliner and winged eyeliner,

I've always kind of been more confused at to how Cat eyeliner and Winged eyeliner were different. I consider winged eyeliner to be more casual, like this,

And I consider this to be cat eyeliner because it is more dramatic, and the inner corner is extended downward much like a cats eye!

Or like this, all around the eye with the extended corner to make the eye look more catlike. Do you ladies agree? Or what do you consider cat eyes and winged eyes?

The two terms are interchangeable. But for me, I consider the cat eye when there's winged on top and the bottom lash line is lined too. The winged liner alone is just...winged liner lol

Yes! Because usually cats eyes are black all around. ^ That makes more sense.

The winged liner has that little flick, like a wing. Which would be like the first few pictures Isabel posted.
A cat eye is when the liner goes out straight, no flick. It's more geometric, if that makes sense. More like what @Symone posted.

I do hear people use them interchangeably but there is a difference, and I don't think it needs to be black all around or have that little edge in the inner corner. Although that does make it look more cat like :)
