Hair growth rate is genetic. As long as you're keeping it healthy, it's growing as fast as it can :)

My hair was really short when I was in 1st grade and it was like a boys hair cut and now I'm in 7th grade and it's to the middle of my back it took 6 years to grow that long and it has quit growing I don't know why it grows so slow.

My hair used to grow slow and I started taking hair supplements and it grows super fast. I can cut it all the time because it will grow back pretty rapidly. All summer my hair was at an awkward length like a couple inches above my nips. It seemed to only grow like a cm a month. Although I don't have a proper way of measuring growth because I don't dye my hair. But then taking silica and biotin, after a month my hair started getting longer and longer. Every week I noticed a small difference in length. I just chopped it into a long bob a month ago and it has grown I'd say two inches. Looks like I need to go back and get it cut already.

Some peoples hair will only grow to a certain length, its all to do with genetics and the stage of growth your hair is at, I think you can get supplements to help but wheather they really work who knows, I think one type is folic acid, not too sure x

Massaging your scalp also stimulates the hair follicles. I use "not your mothers way to grow long and strong" and it's amazing. Also a side effect of taking biotin is weight gain. So be careful!

In my march my hair was a similar length to yours maybe even a bit shorter. I have gotten one trim since and it is now just at the top of my chest (so below armpit length). I am very consistent with not using heat tools as well as washing my hair every 2-3 days. Deep conditioning treatments once a week doesn't hurt either!
