This is embarrassing, but these are my acne scars and I hate them. They are the reason I wear makeup at all. I've tried so many things but nothing's really lightened them, I've heard so much about lemon juice and it gave me no results, these are not just new acne scars but plenty old ones. I just want to fade them, they look so horrible. Please give me advice!

It's okay, don't be embarrassed. Wether you realize it or not a lot of women have acne scars.. It's not exactly about what you apply on your face. Try to maintain a healthy diet, eat plenty of fruits and veggies and apply olive oil to the scars. Olive oil reduces acne scars and improves the condition of you skin. I hope this helps!

My boyfriend tends to pick at his pimples and leaves really bad scars, I put bio oil on him a couple times a day and it works for him.

Will bio oil or vitamin e oil make me breakout? I have super sensitive skin!

Tori Yes, Bio Oil is very comedogenic , so if you're prone to break outs I don't recommend touching it.
Luckily there are many different ways to fade acne scars. I'm not too fond of the lemon thing as it isnt a good idea to put it there.
There are so many things you can do to get rid of it.

• Exfoliation to help cell turn over.
• Cocoa Butter
• Essential Oils ( Almond, Coconut , Jojoba, Almond, Vitamin E, Rosehip.)
• Apple Cider Vinegar ( Must be diluted ) You can make your own cocktail of diluted ACV with some of these oils.
• You can make an exfoliating scrub to help ( Sugar , Honey, and any oil like coconut jojoba almond. )
• The most effective and expensive option would be to get a T Sonic facial cleansing device like the Foreo Luna or the Clarisonic.
• A mud mask will definitely help with pulling excess dirt that may be present.
• A herbal spot treatment ( Kiehl's Blue Herbal Spot treatment is amazing and works beautifully )
I'm trying to remember all my remedies, lol. They are non existent in my life now thanks to my Foreo Luna but what can I say?

Shea butter, Argan Oil, Rosehip Oil, Hemp Oil, and Jojoba Oil are all non-comedogenic so that may be your best option for your skin type.

Exfoliating daily works the best for me. I use a soft fine scrub daily. Then a very strong exfoliating scrub twice a week. Also invest in a face brush. I just got a $6 one at Ulta and I love it!

Hey Kitty! I've read your skincare routine blog post but I still have few questions about it☺️ If you don't mind me asking, how do you make your DIY Toner? I don't think I can just pour everything together and say done lol. And is there any good alternative to your salicylic acid and sulfur bar? My skin tends to reacts with benzoyl peroxide better. Thanks much in advance!

Eat healthier and do some exercise, at least 3 hours exercise in a week, no matter what kind of exercise it is, as long as you'll be sweat.

Hello! If you have old scars then things such as vitamin e oil or aloe vera won't really help, they are used more for new scars. You can try Mederma and apply it to the area about 4 times a day but it does take about 6 months to work, but yes you will see noticeable results. I have extremely sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to it. Also, what saved my life is coconut oil. I have dermatitis on my legs and over many years of scratching I had horrible scars all over my legs and it made me so self conscious. Nothing really helped but then I tried pure organic virgin coconut oil and my legs were dramatically better within about 2 months. I applied it to the area twice a day.
