I have a different cream cleanser from Neutrogena (the deep clean one, maybe?) and it works really well for me. It doesn't leave my face feeling tight after I use it (though of course I follow with moisturizer), and it makes my skin feel lovely and smooth.

If your skin feels tight after you wash it, that normally means that you've stripped all the oils from it and you've left it very dry. It's also just not a pleasant feeling :)

@Hannah I have the deep cleanser but it stopped working for me as I got older and I suffer from redness. So I'm hoping this will work.

Ah :) well I'm only 19 and my skin has no redness (unless I poke at it) so it's working for me, but I'm sorry it stopped for you! That sucks.

Yikes my bad. If you ever want to change it up again, the Bioré Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser isn't bad either. Makes your face cool and tingly. I'm not sure if it would help you, if your skin tends to reject products like that, but it might be worth checking out :)
