I wear contacts, and my eyes usually stay dry because of it. So I'm constantly having to apply drops for moisture, and sometimes I tend to get a little redness! My question is..
Where is the safest place to apply eyeliner on the bottom lashes? Sorry if this sounds stupid. Just trying to be as careful as possible with my sensitive eyes.

Do you mean like the water line or any where in your bottom lashes?

Anywhere in the bottom.

Just don't apply in your waterline and you should be safe. Btw your eyes should not be dry from wearing contacts! I wear contacts religiously and have only had that problem with bad brands. Try Oasys.

I would say just put it in the lower lash line and avoid the water line, as the eye liner would most likely smudge.

Okay, I've worn contacts since I was 9, and I'm now almost 20. Your eyes SHOULD NOT EVER be dry from your contacts (unless you happen to fall asleep in them). I wear the Acuvue Oasis lenses, and I've never ever had a problem. You should see your eye doctor if the dryness persists. Maybe you're just not a contact person? But in terms of eyeliner application, the outer lower lashline is best. Try to go under your lashes, as opposed to in your waterline/over your lashes.

I've been wearing contacts for 4 years, my eyes are super sensitive and they get dry from contacts if I don't use drops every few hours. I've tried every brand out there and my 2 eye doctors say it's normal for some people. Some people just have dryer eyes and contacts can speed up the process especially in winter. It's not dry enough to cause a problem just enough to be uncomfortable without drops. I'd still go see an eye doctor to make sure it's not an infection of any kind or super dry but it shouldn't be a big problem. As for eyeliner, I use eyeshadow on a small angled brush and push into the outer 3/4 of my eye just below the lashes and blend into the lashes with my pinky.

Thank you girls! I actually made an appointment this morning and when I told them what was going on I went in and decided to stop wearing them all together and now will just need glasses for when I'm reading, watching tv, sitting behind a computer screen, things like that. So hopefully it will ease up! Thank y'all so so much!
