I've always thought blue mascara was the sweetest thing, but I've never had any luck getting the formula(s) to appear as vibrantly as it comes out on the applicator. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!!

I have never had luck with this, sadly. I feel like colored mascaras are made for people with light lashes. But have you tried priming your lashes first? I have had the best luck (still not the effect I wanted, though) with the Sephora Collection lash primer. It makes your lashes seriously white. Also, I've seen online that people make their own mascara with gel liners, so maybe google that whole process and see if you can't get a super bright gel liner from Inglot to work as a bright blue mascara. Please let us know how it works for you, because I'd like to try some blue mascara that I can actually see as well!

All you have to do as you do with eyeshadows is use a base. If you use a white lash primer, like what you use to extend your lashes with (try l'oreal, Lancôme, or Dior), then use the color mascara on top you will definitely see that blue! Give it a try! Hope that helps!

Terra, I'm definitely trying that next time I use my blue mascara! I never would have thought to do that.

Use a white lash extender first, (like the first step in Maybelline XXL) this will make your lashes white and voluminous them so the color can show up better and has a bigger space to cover.
