I just bought some light bronzer with a bit of shimmer in it. What is the best way to apply it and where on my face? (I know it's around my cheeks but not sure where exactly) thanks lol I'm pretty new to makeup 😃

Your technically not supposed to contour with bronzer because it has shimmer. You put bronzer where the sun would naturally hit your face so that would be on your upper forehead nose, chin cheeks etc. to give you the sun kissed glow:)
The last 2 pictures Corinne posted are more for contouring ( you can use a bronzer go contouring but it should be matte and a more grey ish toned color to create the "shadow" affect) the shimmery more orangy bronzers should not be used for contouring because the shimmer is supposed to reflect the light and the orangy tone it to make you look more tan
