I've no shampoo for about 5 mouths now and I love it. People usually give up in the transition stage. But if you're willing to do a lot of reserch on it and follow the steps it can be a great thing. I cand tell you more about it if you like.

Why exactly are you giving up on shampoo? Is it causing further damage? And are you still open to using a conditioner or a cleansing conditioner?

I have a good friend that bleaches her hair and to keep it from getting dry doesn't shampoo. She does use a sulfate free purple shampoo about once a month though to keep her hair from getting bronzey. She says she just rubs her scalp in the shower then uses conditioner.

If you use a good shampoo, you don't need to give it up & it won't dry out your hair.

As a hairstylist, I'd advise you to not 100% give up shampooing your hair.

I've actually found that co-washing regularly has really encouraged my curl pattern and stopped my scalp from being dry and flaky. I use a sulphate free shampoo every so often especially if I've used lots of heavy styling products. Its really important if you try co-washing that you use a silicone free products. I love tresseeme nourishing moisture conditioner.
