I've heard of a product that you put in your hair and it makes you hair lighter due to the sun or something like that. I'd like to know if drug stores sell it. Which brand would be best in and morew detail of it. thanks (:

I've heard about sun-in, but I don't know how good it is.

I agree with Jaclyn. Do not use Sun- In if you have dark hair.

Jacqlyn is right. Don't use it, worst hair experience of my life.

You can lighten your hair naturally with lemon juice or honey. just apply it on your hair and go out in the sun for an hour than wash it out.

All dark hair has orange underneath it. If you just lighten it without adding another color over the lightened hair you will end up with brassy orange hair not just dark brown.

It's pretty easy to mess up lightening dark hair. I would only have it professionally done. I used a Vidal Sassoon product at home years ago that was a leave in thing like sun in and it definitely turned my hair orange and I had to go get it fixed at a salon.

I do not recommend lemon juice or honey either and I've said this to people many times and they don't listen to me. If you have dark hair honestly the only you can do it's bleach it or use an actual lightening thing and then add a blonde dye. Everything else will make your hair look copper

I have blonde hair so will this product damage my hair?

All sun-in really does is damage your hair! I used it for a full summer (when I had naturally blonde hair) and my hair was fried! I don't recommend it.

I am naturally blond and Sun In turned me brassy. I went to a salon and they had to do a clarifying treatment on it.

No. No. No. Never.

If you can go to a salon, you can get highlights put into your hair that will create the illusion you have lighter natural sun touched hair.
