Need a pick me up/updated hair cut.

I'm growing my hair out for my wedding a little over 400 days left! But I have my first his side of the family wedding next Sunday. I have to wait till Friday or Saturday to get my hair done. Everyone says just let it be but last trim I had was in December! Suggestions? Add some highlights? Just frame my face? Idk.

I think highlights would look great, and just get any split ends cut if yoy have them.. but definitely some highlights!! :)
