I tried wax strips today on my bikini line and I'm not sure if this is just me or not, but it hurt so bad when I pulled the strip that I hardly removed any hair π₯π₯ also, it started bleeding a little but where the hair follicule was. Was I doing anything wrong? Also, I used the calming wipes that came in the kit before and the ones recommended for after. Tips would be highly appreciated and sorry if this was tmi. Lolπ I was thinking I should just stick to shaving? If shaving is the way to go what are some products and tips for that? Thanks in advance.

I wax my eyebrows and what it tells me on the kit is to pull the trip the opposite way that the hair is growing so your hair is growing to the left pull this trip to the right and vice versa.

Never do an at home bikini wax! Always get it done professionally because of the bleeding.

Waxing doesn't work for everyone, it's not just you! It could be a ton of different factors. (thick hair, not strong enough wax, whatever the case may be lmao!) In the event that waxing really will not work for you, the best shaving method (in my opinion) is using Barbasol shaving cream because it's so gentle and it's cheap too! and using a Gillette razor. (yes it's for men, but it works really really well! just have to be really careful and shave slowly because it's pretty sharp!)

I think it's the area, that's a sensitive area with strong hairs (lol sounds weird)

Maybe you didn't pull fast enough? I tried waxing down there before and it hurt so bad and I refused to pull fast because I didn't want it to hurt super bad, and barely any hair came off/:
