I'm having problems trying to express myself in how I look I really want to die my hair because I feel when I do that I feel I can experiment and see what I like, but my mum won't let me die my hair again and I don't know how to convince her. I was going to try experimenting with makeup but I love my hair so.. Any tips?

Why doesn't she want you to die your hair? Once you know the reason, you can have a calm, open discussion about why it's something you want to do, and why the issues she has with it won't be a problem. The biggest thing is that you show her that you are mature and responsible and capable of making your own wise decisions. Don't whine or beg!

And she says because I have dyed my hair enough for a 15 yr old and I have my whole life to die my hair and I'm going to ruin my hair, when I look after my hair well!

I hope that actually helped! My mom was totally against me getting pink streaks in my hair when I was about 12 because she didn't want me to damage my hair at such a young age. I told her I want the freedom to express myself through my appearance, that I'll take proer care of my hair, and that it's a part of growing up and figuring out who I am, she was on board with it :)

I would also tell her, "Mom, it's my hair, and any damages are my own problem and responsibility. If you let me do what makes me happy right now, I am fully prepared to deal with the consequences on my own without complaining about it." With freedom comes responsibilities, and that's a part of growing up. Show her you're ready to handle it. :)

Not to mention that it's just hair and if you leave it alone, get regular trimmings, and take care of it, it will be healthy.
