Sephora Problems Help!

Alright, so yesterday I was in my sephora store at the mall. I went there to pick up a few items I needed, all of the workers helped me and were friendly as usual. Once I was going to go check out my items, one of the ladies (who I havent talked to yet) stopped me and said, "you can't be in here unless youre 18+ or have a parent with you." I've been to sephora many, many times and not once has that happend. She was pretty rude the way she spoke it, but I was wondering if this was true? Or if sephora changed their policies?

I've never heard that before. The ladies at my senhora are always right in my face, probably because they think teenagers are going to steal. Which is ridiculous to be stereotyped. Did you ask why?

I've been told that as well. They said I needed a parent with me since I was under age. I'm not sure why but it just happened that one time.

18+? What the hell hahah. I've ne'er heard that, but I hardly go to sephora when I visit the city bc they're always real snobby there.

I was at sephora yesterday and nobody told me anything. I mean I'm 18 anyway but a lot of people mistake me for being 16 still, I don't see why that would be a rule unless your like 12 or something cuz in that case they just don't want you messing anything up.

WoW that Sucks I've never heard of that!probably cause you look young and teenagers be stealing that'll be my best bet. that's messed up since you've Been there before I say talk to the manager see what's there "policies"

Some malls have rules about minors being in the mall at all after a certain time. So if this happened in the evening time or if it was getting close to closing time that might have been why. If that's not the mall's policy or if it wasn't to late for you to be there then you should go back and talk to the manager.

I don't see any reasons at all why even 10 year olds wouldnt be able to go there, woww :s I mean, its not like they're selling anything illegal? Its only makeup jeez lol.

If you were out past a curfew that's one thing, but if not then that's weird. I have never in my life heard that before. Next time you go in ask to speak to a manager and ask them about it.

I live in Iowa, and it might be because of the time bc it closed at 9, and I was there around 8:30, hopefully :-)
