I have the same problem. I use a soothing shampoo and conditioner. Then in the morning or once my hair is dry I use a serum that helps the frizz and makes my hair straighter. (I have naturally wavy hair) I also use a John Frieda glossing mist!

I have the same problem. Once I am done shampooing and conditioning my hair I rinse it with cold water. It helps keeps frizz from happening. ;)

I comb my wavy/curly hair in the shower and lightly squeeze it out with a towel, therefore my hair isn't knotty. Then, I scrunch a little hair gel and a spritz of hairspray and I never get a lot of frizz. :)

What I do with my hair is I brush my hair in the shower with conditioner and then when I get out I apply anti frizz creme, spraying gel and mousse.

When you apply the anti frizz creme you probably run your fingers through you hair. The more you separate your hair strands, the more bigger your hair is going to get. That's why, I comb my hair really well in the shower and don't touch it after that. :) I hope this helps! I've tried so many things and this seems to work for me.

You should try the "squish to condish" method before adding your products. Also plopping helps a lot :)

I use coconut oil on my hair after I get out of the shower. it really helps tame my frizz & is also beneficial to your hair :) I have curly thick hair as well.

I have the same problem my hair is an afro!! I use a 2-in1 shampoo and conditioner and as soon as I'm out of the shower I put some serum in my hair then I blow dry and if needed I straighten it sometimes. but not too often cause that could be dangerous for your hair with the heat...
