Chi has good ones but they are high end. Lower end I have a hot and silky I think is what it is. Or Remington is generally good.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Unfortunately I will probably not buy a chi straightener as my budget is quite small also this will be my first experience ever owning a hair straightener, so I am leaning towards more affordable options just to start. In the future perhaps.

Remington. I really like mine bc it can straighten wet hair, so I don't have to wait for my hair to completely dry before using it. It works so well my mom actually stole it from me and keeps it in her bathroom for her to use as well.
