I just got lee staffords bleach blondes purple shampoo and I'm scared to use it because apparently purple shampoo can turn your hair purple??

This bottle? It can turn your hair purple if you leave it on too long, which is what I do deliberately. But it washes out to a white blonde platinum after. This is what my hair is like after the purple washes out, I keep mine on for a long time though lol, like an hour or more but that's just my preference. If you don't want purple hair only leave it on for like 5 minutes in the shower.

Yeah just washing it once a week with it like it says or maybe twice a week should brighten it up a little
