I have short-medium length hair and i hate it. i've died my hair so so many times that it seems as though it won't grow anymore. Are extensions a good alternative? Thanks!! xo

Yes! Make sure you get ones that are made thick. Check out skr hair extensions. You can use the coupon code "morehair" for like 5% off.

Yes! But I would go with the clip in extensions those wont damage your hair. I know how you feel about 3 years ago I cut mine into a bob and missed my long hair terribly! :( Since then I have been using extensions and I love them :D I use sally's extensions they are great and at an affordable price.

I've been interested in hair clip ins for a while and looked up reviews on them on YouTube and Hello Gorgeous brand seems to be the best.

Thank you Payton, it doesn't really look like that too much anymore from the harsh chemicals i've used through out the year. :)

My friend lost lots of her hair from clip in extensions, since they are so heavy so the drag you'r hair down. I don't know if it's true but she prove to me. And i also bought to try out, waste of money to be honest it's just annoying to have it hanging in the hair. And to be honest short hair is really nice too :)

I love my clip ins! I've spent thousands of dollars on extensions from high end salons, many times in the past and never even thought of this option until a year and a half ago. I prefer clip ins to another technique I have tried. A lot of people with clip ins seem to wear them on a less frequent basis, but I wear them everyday(12+ hours a day, 7 days a week) and I couldn't be happier!

I use two whole sets in my hair because it looks much more realistic. With one set, it is very easy for it to look like a mullet and quite fake. I purchased mine from Euronext at Sally's. While they don't seem to have a large cult following like Hello Gorgeous, Foxy Locks, etc, I've never had a reason to switch brands! I had a couple pairs that matched my last hair color that lasted over a year-I changed my hair color so I stopped using them, but they are still alive and well! =P I have bleached them, dyed them, used color stripper on them, and I often use heat styling on them, and they stay in pretty good condition! They're about $90-$130 for one set depending on the different lengths and the usage of discount cards.

They get easy to wear and style with just a little bit of practice and your hair looks fairly long, where blending should be super easy for you!

But as Patricia V. has mentioned-You may lose hair if you don't put them in properly. I had a tiny bald spot where my bottom extension clipped in-it had the weight of the other 7 large wefts on top of it and I didn't tease it (which is helpful in building a structure and adding stability of the first couple layers).... I also get really lazy and sleep in them sometimes if I'm at the bar really late or sleeping at my boyfriends or a friends house and don't feel like taking them out and putting them back in my hair in the morning.... I do NOT recommend sleeping with them in for that reason! It will tear some hair out-its kinda gross. After taking Biotin, my bald spot is completely gone, but it still give me the heebie geebies thinking about it. But as long as you take care of the extensions and use common sense (and never ever put them in your hair when it is wet), you will have absolutely nothing to worry about!

I would go with clip in and avoid bond extensions at all cost. I had the glue bond extensions for 3 months and it was the biggest waste of $300. I took really good care of my hair and conditioned it daily with a hair mask. You can't brush your hair at the roots with bond extensions because they will pull your hair out so needless to say, I had really really really tangled (nearly dreads) hair at the roots.

Clip on's are very worth it
Easier . Fun way to style your hair in anyway you'd like!
And you still sleep comfortable and not get knots?

In the long run, extensions are terrible for your hair. What you need is an olive oil hair growth stimulater. I use this stuff from the dollar store called african pride olive miracle. Its a anti breakage formula that also stimulates your roots. I do oil treatments(literally saturate my hair with it) do pigtail french braids with the oil at night, wrap your hair in a headwrap or something to keep oil from getting on ur pillows, than just wash it out in the morning. Sometimes i leave it in my hair for days than wash it out.

I've had both, bonded and currently are using clip in's. I didn't have any problems with my bonded, apart from the fact I had to get them taken out!! ( due to my hair regrowth) as long as you look after them, use a natural bristle/extension brush, you should be fine. I was recommended to treat them as I would my natural hair, so I washed hair every other day, or whenever it needed. They lasted around 4 1/2 months. I miss them so much!!

I used to dye my hair a lot as well and had very damaged hair because I would bleach it then I started wearing my hair natural and my hair is growing ans healthy so my advice is wear your hair natural fir a bit and if its not the fit for you then yes plan b would be to wear extensions

Extensions are cheap looking. Don't get them. Grow your hair naturally!

I don't recommend clip ins! They look bulky and don't blend in well!
