Yeah why not. Just try different styles of shorts and bikini tops to see what looks best.

I only wear the shorts because I don't like bikini bottoms. I'd say go for the kind of shorts that you wear when you surf. That's how I discovered swim shorts for girls. They have some really cute styles and you can wear them basically anywhere! They might be difficult to find where you are tho. I get mine when I go to the beach and go surfing.
