I think it looks great! Only thing I would suggest is a transition color so it gives your eyes some depth so it isn't so flat with one shade and also a highlight shade for your tear duct other than that I love it I dig the brows I love bold brows on certain people and it flatters you :) great job girl

Your getting the hang of it Alice,I want to correct Maggie with my terminology which is think from fire to smoke dark fades to light for smokey eye ;-) The lid should be any dark color faded upward with no harsh lines. Now I'm not sure what was extremely funny for Jess to be a bit out of line About Maggie comment but that in itself isn't behavior that is tolerated here.Maggie was just trying to be helpful with her comment nothing more so please try not to be unreasonable about it.People are on here to learn and share not get belittle for what they choose to do or say, if Alice asked for suggestions which she asked why shouldn't she have that right without someone like you and Grace whom seem to be projecting a bad day already push that on others.Move on with your rants of the debs and let them be.We want everyone to feel comfortable to post threads and not deal with people who just have to rant for the sake of ranting.

@Kiimy B. I used a cream liner from E.L.F, and then used a pencil liner to go over it. Also I do freehand. And thanks :)

Thanks Alma, you took the words out of my mouth. Yeah, I probably wasn't the best at explaining it lol.

I get what you're saying Alma. However how was I rude? If you scroll up, I complimented OP! I think she did an amazing job. I also gave her advice in a kind, helpful manner. I applaud her both for the makeup & for posting this thread. What I have a problem with is all the people on here comment just to correct someone. That's rude. We've all seen the correct smoky argument on here countless times. Why repeat it again?
If that's her smoky eye then that's her smoky eye. She's not an MUA, she's not forcing her terms onto other people. Just leave her be.
I didn't criticize anyone or make anyone feel uncomfortable. All I did was agree with Jess' comment that makeup shouldn't have rules. Thanks for your opinion though. I read it with an open mind.

Jacqueline, you are right! I didn't mean to come off as rude, or attack any individuals lol. To be honest, I hadn't even read all the comments in the thread. I just saw Jess' and found it humorous. I did not see what Maggie said & did not think anyone would take my comment personally! You summed up what I meant into much better terms - "people are far too concerned about being right and trying to one up everyone." That is a lot more like what I was trying to convey. I also think BL should be a positive place, which was kind of a catalyst for my mini "beauty police" rant lol. I just keep seeing the "that's not a correct smoky eye and therefore it sucks" remarks on here I didn't mean to call out Maggie, or anyone for that matter! In fact, Maggie said it in a nice way. If I had read her comment beforehand, I would have not made the post. I apologize to anyone / everyone who was offended. I never meant to come off as rude to anyone! Since being called out & realizing how rude I came across I've been sitting here like "omg, I'm so mean" Sorry again!
