How to properly wash makeup brushes?

Molly S.
Run them under lukewarm water (only bristles, avoid getting the ferrels wet) and use shampoo to wash them. Just swirl them around on the inside of your hand, rinsing every once in a while and adding more shampoo if needed, until the suds run clean.

I like to use an antibacterial soap and some olive oil :)

Baby oil works, put it in your hand and run the brush in circles and rinse off avoid getting the stem attached to the brush wet. But baby oil works because it's super gentle and it cleans :)

The professionals use brush cleanser but I do mine with A) baby shampoo B) rose antibacterial liquid soap or C) washing up liquid to get grease off.

Baby shampoo and lukewarm water work best.
