A lot of people , including myself, don't know how to do makeup. Its hard, but we don't know to do it. But need the steps. Well I just found this app -Android Users- it goed by step by step. Now I wish it had the tools but you could be able to see what you need on your face.
The app is called: Makeup Your Eyes Step By Step.
Everything is free. A few pop ups but your getting what you are looking for. C;

I just look up videos on youtube, but these look cool! You should look up sabsbeauty and beautyliciousinsider on youtube because they have easy tutorials.

I wouldn't recommend starting that way, necessarily. That's like trying to make a soufflé without knowing how to crack an egg. And unless you are really good at blending, a skill that just takes time and trial and error, your look will not come out as theirs did. Which I imagine to be frustrating a further the feeling that makeup is "hard".
I think a better approach is getting yourself two decent brushes and 3 good eyeshadows and going from there. You can create a lot of different looks, you can watch you tube and look for images to find examples. But the more you practice, everyday ideally, the better you get, and it will happen quickly if you work at it everyday. Plus it's fun!

I agree with Bree it's trial and error. If you want to learn it's just like any other skill. Practice, practice, practice. Practice makes perfect. Keep practicing you will learn.

I absolutely agree with Bree great advice.I would like to also add that most pictures are filtered in some way do don't get frustrated that you may not be doing it right just practice as much as you can.I must be honest with you when it comes to finish application and pictures nowadays its not necessarily true to the actual finish for some and it may not be that flattering for the eyes in person, that is why most don't post full face pictures looking straight forward.Anything of an eyeshadow finish can look pretty close up in filtered, photo shopped pictures.Just keep that in mind when looking at pictures.Just one step at a time, start with the basics when learning. :-)
