Since comments are closed for that article, I'd just like to state that this mani is a very very very VERY bad idea to do by yourself. Unless you are STRONGLY ambidextrous, this is impossible. You look and think it's cute, but just think about trying to get those petite flowers and delicate lines on your small fingernails with your non-dominant hand. It ain't happening, so call a friend or just triple nope on outta there and get nail stickers.

(I'd also like to note that I have large nail beds and I am an artist versed in fine detail work with paint and markers)

Has anyone else tried this yet? I know the article is fairly new, but I kinda want to hear thoughts about it.

Here is a picture of my attempt. Hiding behind an instagram filter does nothing to mask how bad it looks haha...

I love them, the colours you've chosen really complement the design too.

Oh geez, you all are too kind, really! It's definitely a mani that requires a friend with steady hands though. (>_<)

There are ways you can do ambidextrous nail art. You basically paint it onto a piece of plastic and peel it off, creating a nail sticker. It's better explained somewhere on google though lol. Or you could invest in a konad stamping plate?

What kind of brushes did you use? I have these little pens I guess-you squeeze them and a tiny bit of Polish comes out. Good for dots, but I use them all the time to make precise lines. They're often better than a striper to make extra small and intricate lines
