I'm kind of embarrassed but I need help!! Global Dance Festival is coming up soon and I have no idea what to wear. The problem is that I'm plus sized... Any ideas of what I can wear that might actually look good for me? Thanks :)

Can you explain what a global dance festival is? I'm probably just dim and don't know. (: but I'd love to help with some ideas once I know more about the event (is it fancy, what do people regularly wear). (:

Ah. Fun. (: you could wear something to highlight what you really like about yourself such as; you like your legs, wear something to show them off. Emphasizing your waist, the smallest part of you, is also great. You can do this by wearing a form fitting shirt with a skater skirt, or adding a belt to a dress. It's probably going to be hot, so make sure not to wear anything to heavy. Maxi skirts are great if you want to be conservative or feel insecure about your legs (which you totally shouldn't, you have a gorgeous figure), as they are light and won't get extremely hot. I personally would wear a plain, basic tank top/t-shirt, a skater skirt, and a light long cardigan over it. With simple outfits, you can also rely on accessories to make it less plain, like a bold necklace or some bangles on your arm. If you have a favorite band performing, you could wear once of their shirts tucked into highwaisted shorts and ad a cardigan if you want. Depending on whether you want to dress up or not, a simple dress would look great too! I'm a big fan of a-line cut dress, baby doll cut dresses, and skater dresses. The first and the last will emphasize your waist and flare out, which is universally flattering. Most of all, make sure to be confident and comfortable in whatever you decide to wear, because it will show if you're not confident. Have fun!(:
