Okay, so I have a job interview at Illamasqua tomorrow morning. Most of their employees wear very dark and dramatic makeup (at this store anyway), and I was wondering if I should go as dramatic as they do or keep it slightly lighter/subdued, seeing as it's my first interview? And if you have any ideas, post them here. Thanks in advance ☺️

I would go for a pretty neutral eye with a bold liner and lashes, and an intense lip! It'll stand out and it always looks great

Hoenstly I would go with whatever suits your style. Illamasqua is all about the alter ego, and generally the employees who work there have sultry dramatic eye make up and have that kind of punky feel towards them. I would wear exactly, if not similar make up techniques to the employees, as this is what they are always looking for. There's a girl at my favourite illamasqua who rocks like barbie pink makeup (lipstick) with fierce eyeliner but wears all black lace dresses and shirts (kind in the punk style) her make up is always flawless.
I really say go with what's more comfortable for yourself, but keep in mind your going for a make up position, thus you need to present yourself as a creative make up artist.

Hahah checked your profile and I realised your live in brisbane. That's the illamasqua store I go to in (brisbane City) I'd most definitely go with a punk/ grunge look :)

A bold black liner (top lid) and a bold lip :) simple but it'll make a statement.

I'd go with whatever you feel comfortable rocking! If that's something bold then do it! If not, that's ok. Truly, if you feel confident the employer will see that and that could score you major points!
