It sound that I have the same skin type as you. I don't have acne or blemishes but I'm very red and I have dry combo skin (: I use a foundation that is super light on the skin so it acts as a bb cream and it's covergirl advanced radiance age defying makeup with Olay ingredients so it's actually also beneficial to the skin (:

You're probably a little better off with a CC cream instead of a BB cream. CC creams stand for "color correcting" which would probably help offset redness better than a BB cream. I like IT COSMETICS CC Cream. It's natural looking, adds a little moisture, a non chemical spf 50, and a built-in primer.

If you want an American BB cream get smash-box (if price doesn't matter) or Ganier's for oily skin
If an Asian one, I love the Missha bb cream
