I have 2 horses and in the summer wellies are a bad idea as they make you really hot. If It's really hot and I'm not doing much the animals I will wear tennis shoes but if you working on a farm with large animals wear leather boots of sort short riding boots wood be good as they won't be to hot

Definitely rubber boots, preferably that come to the knee. I grew up on a farm and believe me, you get crud all over you. Don't worry about what the boots look like, they'll be dirty and disgusting very soon. Hardware stores/orchard supply will have some.

Hon you really don't have a choice. Rubber boots or cowgirl boots are your only logical options. But if you don't believe us, give it a week. You'll see.

I have a horse and if your going to be working with them. Get steel toe boots! Or shoes. They can easily beak a toe if stepped on. Rubber rain boots are my other option.
