Just use regular scotch tape it will be harder but it will work

Well basically and easy trick is to do four dots on your nails. 2 dots on the side, 2 dots up and down. They would look like this :: Then you can use a nail striper or nail brush and connect the first two dots, but make the lines diagonal. This might sound really hard but it's such an easy technique to achieve the chevron nails.

If you have the scissors that are common used in arts and craft with the zagged ends on the blade then use you can use regular scotch tape! Use the scissors and cut strips of tape the ends of the tape should come off spiked or jagged.
