Personally, the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments are some of my favorite lip balms. They're a bit thicker, which is nice because you know they're keeping your lips hydrated, and they're petroleum free. Also, I'm not sure if Nuxe is available in Canada, but the Reve de Miel lip balm is my new favorite. It's thick, creamy and makes your lips feel fantastic. If you can get it, definitely do!

Drink loads of water.. apply honey once a day for 15-20 min then wash off with plain water.. You can try the Neutrogena lip moisturizer Norwegian formula.. It's not tinted, no smell( so you won't lick it up) and it worked wonders for my lips :)

I agree with Hannah W. The Fresh lip balm is amaaazing. If I had the money I would never use another lip balm again. I do wish they'd come down on the price a bit, but it's worth it in my opinion. But even if you can't or don't want to spend the money on it, look for lip balms made without petroleum/petroleum jelly. Petroleum does nothing to replenish moisture or heal dry skin or lips. It's a sealant so it will keep moisture in but if your lips are dry and chapped it isn't going to actually heal them. Sadly a lot of companies use petroleum jelly as bases for their products because it's cheap. Some that don't use it are the Fresh lip balms mentioned above, Jack Black lip balms (Sephora and Ulta both carry them), Alba Botanical and the Yes To brand (ex: Yes To Carrots, Blueberries, Tomatoes.
Both Rosebud Salve and Papaw ointment are made with petroleum as well so you may want to avoid them. I know a lot of people use those and love them but if your lips are super dry I'd avoid them. They're kind of glorified Vaseline sadly.
Lush also make great lip products. I love their honey trap lip balm and lip scrubs. Elf's lip exfoliator is nice too and it's only $3 but I was very impressed with it.

My favorite is the body shop ones. The vitamin e one is the one I buy most. It's the pink one. But it's natural ingredients and it feels soo good on my lips.
It's like 9$ VS the fresh ones (which I also really like)

With any lipid based product, if you over use it, eventually, your skin will dry out. Everything in moderation.
