I have moved onto my second tube of Benfits They're Real mascara and I just want to say how amazing it is. My lashes are so long yet they look natural at the same time which I like. I know people said it's clumpy and horrible and I agree it is when you first try it as it is a wet formula but please try it again as it's so much better when it dries out a little. Please give it another go if you have discarded it. What do you think?

I liked how it looked, but for some reason it made my eye lashes stick together. Maybe it's just because I wear contacts, but it was really annoying.

Personally, I can take it or leave it. It will never be my holy grail, something about the way the brush is makes my lashes do some weird stuff. Despite that, if I have a solid 20 minutes to do my mascara, usually I can get it right.

I was disappointed with benefit they're real, I thought maybelline the rocket was much better. They're real did ok on separating my lashes but not much for volume or length and I have naturally long lashes.

@Katie, I just bought it yesterday and used. I like it but I'm still unsure if it's worth the $24. I also want to see if the problems I encountered are similar to other users. So once you give it a try, tell me about it (:

I love benefit they're real! I keep trying other brands, Bare Minerals, Smashbox, Bobbie Brown, Loreal Manga, Diorshow xtasy, UD Perversion...I could go on and on...I always come back to benefit. Makes me look like I have falsies on and it stays all day. It's definitely my favorite mascara.

I've found many mascaras that have mimicked the effects of they're real , and for much less! I don't think it's anything spectacular, and I wouldn't pay the 23$ for it , especially when I can get something similar for half or even a third of the price!

Agree with Isabel ;-) I'm not a fan of that mascara for myself.I do fine that many in the market does out beat it like jordana extreme lash mascara.

My friend got me that mascara for my birthday and it was alright. To be honest, I have a?2/?3 mascara that does exactly the same thing and doesn't make my eyelashes fall out. If anything, its about how you apply it, not which brand it is when it comes to mascara.

I do not like the mascara. It makes my lashes stiff and stale. And I don't like overall look of my lashes when I use it...I did purchase the liner, which I must say I do love!!

I've been using it for a while and it does make my lashes look good from afar - spiky and full - but it's very clumpy and leaves tiny black balls of mascara on my lashes (I can't use it for my bottom lashes because it's more obvious there). Tonight I found an old tube of Maybelline Lash Stiletto and tried them side-by-side for kicks - the Lash Stiletto was SO much better! Went on so smooth, great definition and length, and much easier to apply. Wasn't as good for volume and it made my lashes a bit blunt, but it made me realize that I just don't think They're Real is worth it. There are cheaper, better alternatives out there.

I never buy high end mascara because I wear false lashes pretty much every day. I have received a few In palettes and sets and the they're real mascara worked alright but it looks AWFUL on false lashes
