Using the right products for your curl pattern/texture would be a start before you chop it off. There are beauties wishing they had your hair!! Its obvious you brushed out your hair so I can't see how your looks curly...but I have to say putting a chemical straighten in it takes the right products to maintain it and they are pretty pricey plus it amps up the risk of damage due to the fact that it makes already fragile hair even more fragile. Just chat with beauties who have both and not just stylists (they will sell you the moon just to get you in the chair and forking over money). I've experienced several different chemical straightners and never, ever again. It slowed down my hair growth and dealing with regrowth was a pain in the butt to maintain.

Don't perm or cut your hair. Just put it in braids like these.

Embrace that beautiful hair lady... if you can put the time into keeping it natrual, I'd recommend divacurl. But its lovely...

I agree with Shelley completely. From my personal experience, I totally understand where you are coming from. I suggest that before you do anything like relaxing, that you try to work with your texture! My hair used to be so hard to take care of because I has no idea how to. I very seriously suggest doing some research on how to take care of natural hair! My tips are
• ONLY comb or finger detangle your hair, and only when it is wet because it is much easier to manipulate.

I also highly suggests buying a conditioner you can use to detangle when you comb or finger comb your hair! Brushing is much harsher than combing, which is why it isn't such a good idea for very easily damaged natural hair.
I also suggest investing in a leave in conditioner for everyday styling because with any hair type, moisture IS key for healthy and manageable hair! I really suggest the Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioner , which is my personal favorite! I also use a moisturizing cream styler , which will help your hair stay defined as well as moisturized, I use the Shea moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie which is my personal favorite! There are many natural hair care websites, if you google how to care for natural hair you will get a TON of results! It takes effort , but it's worth it! But if you truly don't like your hair, and you want to relax it, that's your decision and your hair as well! I hope I could help, Good Luck! 🌸

You have to find what works for you, it may take time, but it's truly worth it!

Try doing different styles that stretch your hair rather than leaving it in an Afro. Styles like twist outs and twist outs stretch the hair. Try doing different size sections until you find what you like. Personally, I like chunky twist outs because it will give me just the right definition and stretch and not be so puffy. Good luck and don't give up!

I too struggle with frizzes but found the right products that works for my hair. I also did a Lasio Kerating Smoothing treatment which helps with frizzes and makes your hair super smooth and straight once blow dried. the keratin will cost. please do not mistake it for the (Brazilian karetine) which is harsher on the hair etc.
