Has anyone ever tried sugar waxing? I've been attempting to make the wax for a couple days now, I burn it every time or I end up not cooking it enough. Has anyone ever tried it and does it work?

I've tried it. I personally thought it was a lot if hassle. It is SUPER sticky and gets everywhere. To make the wax make sure you put the heat on a somewhat low setting and you are constantly stirring it. You'll know when it's done cause it'll have a dark brown golden color. It'll still be a liquid. Before you use it make sure you let it cool for a while so you don't burn yourself. I remember that it took me awhile to make the wax. Good Luck!

It works well if you let the hair you would be waxing grow out for a while lol. In my experience with it, it was more like making sugar candy and removing it from heat before the wax got really thick. It's also difficult to tell when it has cooled down ( or it was for me lol ). I put my finger in the wax and it didn't feel too hot or burn my skin so I decided to go ahead and try it on my leg. Apparently I was wrong about it not being hot. Just be careful when you are making it. You might have a more positive experience unlike my slow self lol.
