I have the pressed. I like it but it is different from other pressed powders. It's really "hard presses". So when you swipe the puff across it, you're not going to barely see any product on the puff. Its not defective. It's so FINELY milled & will set your foundation & blot mild to moderate shine. It offers NO coverage and barely has a texture so it won't look powdery or feel heavy. If you want to blot out really shiny, oily skin, this may not be the product for you. I can't speak for the loose.

It is my hg setting powder! I have the loose form. It is completely translucent, which I adore, because it never leaves you looking over covered. It is very finely milled, and keeps me from getting oily for about 5 hours, and I have super oily skin. The pressed didn't impress me as much as the loose, it had all these weird shimmers, I just don't like pressed powders. Seriously though, I was doing my mom's makeup, and when I apply it to her combo skin, it doesn't cling to dry patches, minimizes pores, and even can reduce wrinkles. I think it is worth it.

In the loose I don't notice any shimmer. The pressed one I noticed it, but that was an in store swipe. I think the loose one is better, but like I said, I'm not a fan of most pressed powders.
