My fav is AMAZING COSMETICS CONCEALER. It comes in about 20 shades and is not thick and cakey.

You need a corrector and then a concealer. Bobbi Brown make an amazing corrector which covers dark circles and then you only need to use a minimum amount of concealer

I agree. I use the Bobbi brown corrector in peach and then MAC pro longwear concealer over top. Makes a huge difference.

I have been using the NYX's color correcting concealer in yellow. I just set it with a loose translucent powder.

Mac is good but I find NYX a little better.

I'd definitely go for one of the correcting products the others have mentioned, but for just a concealer to try, Rimmel's Wake Me Up concealer. It works really well for under the eyes. I was skeptical because drugstore concealers usually don't do crap for me but I actually really am impressed by this one. They don't seem to have too many shades so that could be a problem but I think its worth a try :)

The basics of covering them is that you need eye cream. a orange corrector, a concealer that is meant for the under eye area, in a slightly lighter color, a cosmetic sponge to blend these products. powder to set, and if they are really tough, a highlighter pen. My routine is eye cream, Laura Mercier orange/yellow corrector, then Laura Mercier secret concealer. I tap in a stippling motion the butt of the sponge over it to blend it out without getting brush strokes, and use the slim part of the sponge to blend the lash line and corners of my eyes. Nars pressed translucent powder is the best, it is impossible to over powder the area, which causes creasing, and hides fine lines. I would swear ground up unicorn tusks are in it, it's that magical. I take a fluffy drug store brush, and tap it over. Do not blend or power your under eye area in a sweeping motion ever, you must tap, or your wiping away your work and you will get frustrated, plus it's bad for under eye skin. At this point, if you still see some darkness, whip out your highlighter pen, my choice is Mac Prep and prime in radiant rose, and click it once. Tap it on your hand once to remove excess product, and apply over the shadows. It will look funny, you must tap the sponge one more time.
You can experiment with products in your price point, but don't make the rookie mistake of using the same concealer you would use on the rest of your face, it's not thick enough, and it will crease. Look for a creamy pot based one. Don't use too much powder. Pressed is easer to work with, in my opnion Nars pressed is the best. Use a sponge wedge to blend, it will save your sanity.
