So, my issue is that I've read that you shouldn't wash your hair daily, however, I work out daily, and I do sweat, and it does get in ny haur, so if anyone could offer suggestions, advice and/ or opinions on maybe a certain shampoo or conditioner, or perhaps a sort of routine I could do to prevent my hair from drying out, I'd appreciate it.
My general routun as of yet is a minimum ammount of shampoo, (lathered in hand first, place through hair, then rinsed). Then I leave in conditioner for the remaining duration of my shower, then I rinse it out at end with luke warm water. After towel drying my hair a bit I apply Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender, DAILY. -.- haha
If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it. :)

Hi, Jacy! I would recommend that you keep washing it everyday since you're working out and working up a sweat! Since you have to do that though, I would recommend making sure you use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner when you wash your hair so that it stays moisturized and doesn't dry out! It might also be helpful to use a serum type of product as well if you think you need a little extra product for styling (aka, keep using the Split Ends Mender! ;) ).
And as always, if you use heat styling tools, keep using a heat protectant to make sure you prevent damage and dryness from those!
And just as a last side note, if you think you need it, you could work a clarifying shampoo into your shampoo routine once a week/every two weeks or so (however often you need, some people only do so once a month), to help remove any product buildup since you'll be washing a little more than normal! Sometimes you can even skip shampooing all-together and just condition your hair after wetting it! That will help eliminate dryness some since shampoos are going to be the products more like to dry your hair out, not conditioners.
I hope this is helpful in some way! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask and I'd love to try and help you if I can! (:

if you workout daily, you can try not washing your hair everyday by only washing your body every other day while keeping your hair up in a shower cap. you can then use dry shampoo on those days that your hair isnt being washed. your scalp will need time to adjust to not being washed all the time, so you may have an oily scalp when you start this process. however, once your scalp gets adjusted, it will go back to normal and wont be as oily.
if you still want to wash your hair everyday, switch to washing your hair with cold water and a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. this will be less harsh on your hair. you should also deep condition your hair (sulfate free deep conditioner) at least once a week.

if you wash your hair everyday to the point where you hear a squeaky noise while you run your fingers thru your hair it's a bad thing, as all of the natural nutrients have been removed.
I usually shampoo and condition one day and then on the alternate day use a cream cleanser on my hair to remove foreign substances but not natural nutrients.

You can skip washing even if you sweat. Dry shampoo, wearing hair up on the 2nd day- you can easily blow dry the sweat and spritz in some dry shampoo. Or just wet your hair, not shampoo it.

Just make sure that you know that no product can truly "mend" split ends. Once the hair splits and breaks it can't be put together again. It will only keep splitting. But a good prevention would be a good quality leave-in conditioner or hair masque

Try washing with conditioner only every other day. It won't try your hair out as much. And use a leave in conditioner too.

I wash my hair every other day and I do my Apple Cider Vinegar treatment alternated with a Coconut Oil Treatment on the weekends. My hair is pretty fine and thin. With the amount of styling I do everyday plus a little color chemical on my fine hair that made it damaged and lifeless. i consider my hair in the process of healing that's why I use the ACV & Organic coconut oil treatment with the hopes of bringing it back to life.

Washing your hair every day is not good for it. At all. I would recommend for you to wash your hair every other day and on the days you don't wash it put a shower cap on and skip the hair. By washing it every day your body overcompensates and makes a LOT more oils than it usually should. It will take a while, but your hair will find a happy medium!
