... Any suggestions?

try the dandruff shampoos, such as Head & Shoulders or Selsun Blue. Dry scalp just needs moisturizing, if its so severe that otc's aren't helping, then you should see a doctor, you might need a prescription.

Your scalp needs to be exfoliated. Scrub your scalp with brown sugar and vinegar then condition

Its normal to have dandruff especially if you live in a place with clammy weather. You need to wash your hair daily and sometimes use soap instead of shampoo, then condition and put some leave in for combing. It might work. Also if you blow dry might help! Dont use hats or caps or anything that might suffocate you scalp! Hope it helped. X

Make sure to leave it in 3-5 minutes and only use conditioner on ends

I agree 100% with Cloey! Use coconut oil as a hot oil treatment and wash it out well... I haven't had a problem with dandruff since I started using it two years ago.

Where can I get coconut oil I have really bad dandruff to and I only wash every 3 days my scalp is so itchy from it

You can get coconut oil in walmart in the cooking section. If you have a beauty supply store near you, you can get it there as well.

I've struggled with cakey dandruff my whole life. I occasionally treat my clean scalp with Listerine Antiseptic (NOT the flavored or mint!) as it is a bacterial killer, not just used as a mouthwash. I wet a cotton ball with the original Listerine and part my hair as if I were coloring it. I rub the Listerine soaked cotton on my scalp. The odor dissipates after a half hour or so. i try to do this once a week to keep the dandruff from getting out of control.

Try the new shampoo called "clear for men " it's not just for men I use it and I really like it and its for dandruff also it's a 2in1 so you don't have to put on condition.

Depending on your budget, try Paul Mitchell's regular tea tree, or the lavender mint tea tree. It tingles on your scalp and it helps with dandruff. Although if you have a sensitive scalp, the tingle will feel like burning. Plus the whole tea tree line smells like heaven! Lol.
