Back To MAC: Eyeshadow.

I'm getting ready to Back to MAC and I'm going to go to an actual store and not just a counter- so I have the option of a lipgloss, lipstick or eyeshadow.
I've never owned a MAC eyeshadow before and I really want to try one. What would you say is the THE #1 eyeshadow to own? I've read countless articles and blog posts on this but I really trust my BL fam's opinions on this one.

Yes! If you go to an actual MAC store you can pick on of the three. At counters (located inside department stores) you can only choose a lipstick.
I really want a neutral, but something with a little oomph if you know what I mean. I already have too many browns and the perfect blacks (Makeup Geek Corrupt and Mary Kay Coal) so I don't know what to get.
