So the military ball is coming up and I have no clue where to start!! :/ it is very formal and my dress can be no higher than my knees! any ideas for makeup,hair,or outfit? it would surely help a lot!!

Okay, I'm sorry about this, but please don't wear a dress like Chanel suggested. Modesty is very important; I've been to military balls. try something with thicker straps, and a more modest back on it. dark colors work well. maybe something like this? and I'd do colorful makeup with it, maybe a darker purple or green eye look?

Yeah, I'd go for sophisticated, more than red carpet. don't get me wrong, that dress is beautiful, it's just not correct for the event.

I go to those all the time they have a mix of different styles when it comes to the ladies that go I wouldn't be surprised to see someone wear the dress that Chanel had suggested lol It's all in personal comfort or style from formal to cocktail dresses.
