Thats so cute! I used to have a my ear stretch to a 12! I love it but I grew up and decided I didnt want it so I took it out closed up fairly quick but not completely you can still see threw the whole, my ear looked odd for a while and I can't even put a normal earring in without it falling threw! I think you should really think about it! its all good until you want to get rid of it.

When I started I used the 0.5mm and went up 2 everytime I did it in the shower so it never hurt.

I personally don't picture myself with some. But I don't dislike them I think some people can totally rock them😉😉😉😉

I have had mine at 7/16's but recently downsized to a 2g. Just do your research before you start stretching so you don't ruin your lobes. It also shouldn't hurt. And please don't stretch with silicone, I've known people that have and it was just gross:/

I think bigger is better when it comes to stretching. like, when people have theirs at 2 inches I think it's incredibly beautiful. that's just me & going that big isn't for the faint of heart lol. I say to go to an inch & then you can wear the plugs pictured. it's a heart, right?

Go as big as you want, I stayed at 0g for a while and now I'm at 9/16ths. Also gauges are the unit of measurement used, they're called stretched ears/plugs/tunnels. Never skip sizes, wait the right time between sizes, and it should never hurt. Otherwise your ear will have a "cat-butt" effect and you risk getting a blowout which will hinder you from downsizing in the future. Past about 0g is the "point of no return" where your ears will most likely not shrink back to piercing size. Clean them with sea salt daily, and invest in jojoba oil or vitamin e oil. Just take care of them and do it the right way unlike a lot of uneducated people out there doing it bc it's "trendy"

Also, to be honest, if you don't go to at least an 8 or 6 there's absolutely no point in stretching your ears. They really just look like normal piercings...

And like elysia said do NOT use silicone, or acrylic. They're so bad for your ears. Use titanium. Any wood/stone/etc.plugs shouldn't be used until your ear is healed

I think they are cute and the size it up to whoever is wearing them. I personally can't even pierce my ears because I'm allergic but my older brother used to have his ears stretched to the point where I could fit my little baby hand through them.

I love gauges!

I love them but know that generally once you pass 0g you can't shrink your earlobes back to normal size once you take them out. You'll have to get surgery if you want to get your earlobes back to your regular size.

I love them! I had my ears at 00's and then got tired of them, I miss them sometime but I'm kind of glad they closed as they just weren't for me. I definitely like them on other people though, and I'd go to a 0 to see if you like them and then maybe keep going up from there. Just be sure to get educated before hand so you're not skipping sizes or rushing.

I stretched my ears in all the ways you don't want to haha! I went from a normal pricing to a 00 in about 2-3 months (yes I know, yikes. And yes it did hurt). Do your research! I totally regret it. I absolutely loved my gauges, but my mom and boyfriend hated them so off they went. My ears are now at around a 2, and will not go down from there. I'm going to have to get surgery eventually, but it's really expensive. Be careful! I love them on the right people and some gauges you can get bow are totally stunning. Good luck! Go slow!

If you stay under 10 it will close fully again, over and it won't I think. I love when they're small and cute like a 4-6. Remember to do it very slowly :)

How old are you and what is your (current/future) profession? If you are going into a conservative professional career, I would keep the size fairly small-under a 00g, if you are (going) into a more laid back or artistic field, the sky is the limit with the size you decide to stretch to! Either way, I say go for it! You don't have to determine a size just yet. I say, start the process and see where you might like to be in the future. Don't buy any expensive jewelry until you've decided where you would like to stay for a while. That's pretty much what I did: I sized up with cheaper (organic), yet still pretty jewelry, but I didn't invest in any really expensive pieces until I decided to stay at 00g indefinitely.
Stretch slowly and properly, do NOT push your body further than it is telling you it can go. Consult a professional about proper techniques and jewelry for your personal stretching process. Don't try to cut corners by sizing up too quickly. If you go slowly, use the proper materials, and take care of your ears, you should not have any blow outs or "smelly" plugs.

I agree with Kristy E. just because I feel like you may eventually get tired of it. I personally don't like them just because once you do it there really isn't a going back, because like she said even though they kinda grow back they still fall out, so that something to think about. I would start small and see how you like it, but I would really really think about it. Because think about the future, like Natalie T. said, depends on what job you might want, because that could risk it. Also, they do smell awful lol
