I would suggest the herbal essences drama clean clarifying shampoo in a green bottle, my roomie and I use it when we have been partying all night and have tonnes of product build up, is a great product and inexpensive!

Have you cleaned your hair brushes? Product buildup in brushes can lead to really greasy hair :) Just spray your brush with rubbing alcohol and scrap out everything with a pencil

Try washing your hair in the morning! And as far as shampoo goes I like L'Oreal (ever- lines, sulfate free) and Nexxus. But make sure you are conditioning too, a lot of people stop using conditioner, but that actually makes it worse because your hair will try to produce more oil because you aren't using. If you color your hair though, a clarifying shampoo's will strip the color, so remember that too.

Maybe try blow drying hair too, I notice if I let my hair air dry, it can sometimes look oily

Tresemme has dry shampoos that are really helpful at making the hair not look so greasy between washes. As for a shampoo try something that cleans the hair well especially if you're washing every couple of days.

If you don't already, shampoo twice. They don't say "lather rinse repeat" just for kicks, there's actual science behind it. The first shampooing clears away buildup, and the second actually cleans and treats your hair and scalp. Also, check out your other styling products and maybe trade to "lightweight" versions.

Do you use a dry shampoo? I use it in between washes. It makes it so I can go 2 days longer then normal without washing my hair. Make sure you aren't conditioning too much at the roots. If you dye your hair then I would stay away from any clarifying shampoo.

I have REALLY oily hair too. I wash my hair every other day, use a clarifying/deep cleansing shampoo on the weekends, and regular shampoo and conditioner every other day. I also try to use a deep conditioner following the deep cleansing as it usually strips my hair of natural oils that are needed. On the days that I don't wash my hair, I use a dry shampoo. Right now I'm using Lush's No Drought dry shampoo. It's a powder formula so I sprinkle it on my normal part and let it set for a minute then run my fingers through my hair like if I were shampooing it, and then repeat this process making new parts to insure that I'm getting to the roots but also making sure not to use too much product as that can make it look worse.
List of products I use:
*WASH DAYS*
Banana Shampoo by the Body Shop
Banana Conditioner by the Body Shop
Wide toothed comb to comb conditioner through
*NO WASH DAYS*
Lush's No Drought Dry Shampoo
Tresemme's Refresh Mist (not sure if that's the actual name of the product or not. I just use it as a freshener for scent and to help with any excess buildup)
*WEEKENDS*
Redken's Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo
Tresemme's Rejuvenating Mud Masque
Wide toothed comb to comb masque through hair
Hope this helps!
