I currently use L'Oreal True Match and I love it but I want to try something high end. I'm looking for something with light (not too sheer) buildable coverage. I have oily and sensitive skin. What do you recommend?

I looooovvveee Urban Decay Naked Skin. It has light coverage but it's buildable. I find that it looks incredibly skin-like & it has a demi-matte finish. If you have super oily skin then you'd need a primer and setting powder/spray, but it's soooo worth trying.

Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation is a wonderful high end foundation. It photographs brilliantly and hardly oxiodides on my super oily skin, it also gives a lovely finish, I would defiantly check it out. You can usually get samples of it to test, which is especially great for those of us with sensitive skin.

Thank you! I've heard great things about this foundation and wanted to try it. I'll have to go in and grab a sample. Do you know if they have really pale colours? I find it hard finding a light enough shade for my skin tone?

I'm pretty light and I was shade matched in store. I was planning on buying the lightest color, since that's what I usually do, but the second lightest was perfect. They have a great range, I'm sure you'll find something.

I would personally get a foundation that's medium coverage. If you want lighter coverage then mix it with your moisturizer and it'll even last longer and for days you need more coverage then don't add in the moisturizer. I do this all the time cause the lighter coverage ones cake up when I add a second layer with my oily skin

Mac face and body foundation is really nice. Also try the estee lauder double wear light foundation.

I agree with the naked skin. It's light but has some coverage and isn't bad with my oily skin. Face and body by mac is light too but doesn't go well with my skin type.

With sensitive skin I wouldn't recommend UD naked skin. The super thin liquidy formula didn't cover my redness, and I found it made it worse throughout the day. Now I don't know what your sensitive too, but something in UD naked skin made me red and breakout after a couple hours of wearing it.
I've read that makeup forevers foundations are really good for sensitive skin but haven't tried it myself. I personally use tartes, I love it, it builds well, it's a light medium coverage and it's the only one I find that covers my redness without breaking me out. But I drier skin and I've heard some people say that the oiler you are, without an oil controlling primer it will flakes off. I've never had that happen to me and I pile on moisturizer before applying. And I've been using it 6+ months. But I'd go into sephora and ask for samples, that way you get to try what works for you and maybe they'll recommend one that nobody has mentioned.

Thank you everyone!
@Alyx, I don't really know what I'm allergic to but my skin has just always been super sensitive to lots of products such as Clinique, Rimmel face products, Revlon. I've never really tried a high end foundation so I want to give it a try. I also heard great things about MUFE
