So this is the makeup I wear just about everyday... sometimes minus the eyeliner or eyeshadow or even both, but this is as "dramatic" or" risky" as I ever get. I'm tired.of wearing only browns, peachy, all the typical "blue eyes" colors..

I want to switch it up! colors, shape of shadow, anything that's different!!(:

Try purples, shimmery golds, and maybe neons like pink, blue? Maybe green?

To help get out of the habit you can make this into your own sort of makeup challenge so everyone who posts something you have to do that the next day (: that way you will get at least a couple days of different looks (: obviously some looks might be harder to create than others but do your best to try (:

for the first one try some yellow and orange eyeshadow. It will really make your blue eyes pop!

You should grab one of nyx's glitter liners to shake things up a bit. I picked up the goldish champagne one and wear it on my lower lashline. They have a pink and purple one, too, that would look great with blue eyes. I also bought a little cheapie palette with lots of purples, because purple looks stunning on blue eyes. Also try adding gold with purple, it is fab!

Go to Ulta or Sephora (I don't know your life, I don't know your budget!) with a set amount of money to spend on new makeup. If you have new toys to play with, it might shake things up a little!

Bess- so true! Something I never focus on is brushing applicators for some reason it said in my mind that doesn't really make a difference but I know no they do! I just don't know how to use them right. lol

Plum purple would be fantastic, I think it looks best with blue eyes. You can do a complementary color of champagne, bronze, light gold, copper, intense gold, brown, pink, yellow, light mauve. You could also do cool-toned dark purples as well, garnet, or burgundy.

So for some reason I've never really been able to distinguish the difference between tones haha. I'm not even sure what my undertone is!

With the purples on the color wheel, the top is a red-violet, so warm toned (because of the red), the middle is neutral (equal balance of warm/cool undertones), and the bottom is a blue-violet, so cool toned because of the blue.
