This weekend I popped into Sephora to get a sample of Yves Saint Laurent's La Teint Touche Eclat. I wore it today and it is not agreeing with my skin. Anyone else have this experience?

I tried Luminous Silk by Armani and also broke out my forehead. Is there a specific ingredient in illuminating foundations that are notorious for breaking you out?

What skin type are you?
foundations like Armani Luminous Silk are not good for oily skin, so if you have oily skin it would make sense that illuminizing foundations are breaking you out.

I have dry skin which is why I am usually attracted to illuminating foundations so I don't look so matte. However, when I try to use them...I break out.

You probably have sensitive skin, you should try clinique foundations or invest in a primer to act as a barrier between your skin and the foundation.

Hmm :/ I'm honestly not too sure why those haven't worked for you.. your skin must not like them! lol.
you could try NARS Sheet Matte Glow. it's meant for dry skin so it might work better?

My skin isn't a huge fan of silicone so I use Tarte's flawless (silicone free primer) and then use Naked Skin by Urban Decay. I guess The Touche Eclat may have too high of a silicone ratio for my skin to handle.

Annoying because I see women wearing it and it looks so good on them.

I just think your skin is very sensitive to those foundations. Try L'Oreal True Match Lumi. I really like L'Oreal for sensitive skin and it gives your skin a glow.

Well Courtney that foundation does have silicone in it.

Your right on point with it and that's the culprit silicone. When you get a chance read the ingredients and look them all up then you'll know what to look for. :-)
