So I came across a picture from 3 years ago and I realized that my hair looks completely different. Keep in mind, I'm mixed so I HAD medium tight curls. The curls I used to have are non existent anymore and I believe it's from straightening it too much. Also, my hair is SO much thinner which is probably from straightening. It's so hard for me to stop because my hair is so much easier to manage straight but it's no longer cute naturally now. I don't know what to do other than stop straightening it cold turkey and take biotin. Any other ideas? Please, anything is worth trying.

I would stop using heat and take biotin like you said. Also I would suggest using a protein filler, taking multi vitamins, drinking lots of water, and using a good conditioner or mask like aussie 3 minute miracle or coconut oil.

I understand! All the things I've read have said I need to cut my hair and let my natural hair gradually grow back out but it takes forever for curls to get longer since it's coiled.

Stop using heat! I know it's sooo hard lol. I'm actually going through the same thing for the most part. Buy some perm rods and use that to curl your hair till it gets better :)

Try using a keratin shampoo. Or taking biotin vitamins or shampoo with lots of biotin. They're protein for your hair..I also heard if Dr. Oz talking about black current for hair thinning. I think it's a vitamin not really sure, google it. Lol :)

Treat your hair with eggs, coconut oil , and a sulfate free condition , mixed them and apply all over and let it sit for about 45 minutes do this once a week , I garuntee you will see results 👌 this is what I used to get my curls back. The eggs put in protein, the coconut oil repairs and helps growth , and the conditioner apples moisture to help lock it in , hope I helped ☺️
