I've found that the hautelook sales are not specific to hautelook...the products are normally on sale in generel. Often because they are being discontinued.

@courtney, I found that true as well. Hautelook had stila makeup on sale last week and I looked on the stila site and found that it was the same makeup on sale on the site. But atleast on the site you can earn credits towards purchases. I have been using it for a year now and overall it has expanded the brands I know about!

I don't like the sets they made very much... before, I remember them selling entire collections of their pigments and such. Kicking myself for missing out on that one.
DEFINITELY check out their MAVI jeans sale though! Best underrated designer jeans EVER!

I looked over it, but I didn't necessarily love what they had. I freaked out when they had Urban Decay haha. I live across from Ulta, so I guess I knew I could always go there, their cheap as it is haha.

Also keep in mind that sometimes the sale isn't a great sale and sometimes the items on Hautelook are actually clearanced out items on that company's site. I only buy when I know the prices are lower than the company's site OR that it's a clearanced/discontinued item (example, I picked up Urban Decay's Summer of Love and Show Pony boxes at Hautelook after it was no longer available at UD).

I got a few things just because all the stores around me that sell NYX have a small selection.
Let's see...I got the Pretty Penny set, the Pastel pigments, and Blooming Blush set.
I was really hoping for some jumbo pencils or sets with more pigments, but I can't really complain because i'm excited for what I ordered :)

Yeah I was a little dissapointed I thought they were not going to be in sets like that. I did like the peachy breeze nail polish set that was nice. Next time I wil check the site to see if they are on sale there too and then get to choose what I want lol, and not in a set.

I liked the sets they had available. I bought a few because I would use the colors. I don't know if what I bought was being discontinued but I liked that they came with lashes, and that they were sets that can work with each other.
