hey everyone! so im on the hunt for a good powder i can just throw in my bag for when my face gets a bit oily... id love to hear your suggestions and what works best! :)

I plan on buying the MAC Mineralize SKin Finish Natural! The lady at the counter helped me find the right powder for my skin (I have oily skin).

I love MAC Studio FIx powder. It's meant to be more of a powder foundation, but I love it for touch ups!! I have combo/oily skin and normally what I do is, I use my Palladio Rice Paper blotting papers (best blotting papers ever, IMO) to remove the oil and then I touch up with the MAC Studio Fix powder. Works great!

I would say that it all depends on what kind of skin you have (oily, dry, combo)

If you have acne prone skin, try clinique pressed powder. I love that company for problematic skin because their products are fragrance free. I love the stay matte sheer pressed powder. Check it out, Steph.

I love my mac prep & prime loose translucent powder, but for something to carry with you I would recommend my favorite pressed powder, the Maybelline dreame matte powder! works like a high end powder, and I would pay more than I am for it - it's that good!

I use MAC's Mineralized Skinfinish Natural and love it. Its light and natural looking. I would recommend to first blot using blotting sheets then apply some powder, applying powder on top of the oil will make it look cakey.

I agree with Alexis C. Powder free blot papers are the way to go to prevent a cakey oily face. :)

MAC Blot Powder is nice, but if you're looking for a more-affordable powder, I suggest Rimmel's Stay Matte powder in Translucent. I have oily skin and I use it to set my foundation and sometimes for touch-ups, though I tend to keep it in my vanity and keep MAC Blot Powder in my bag (because of the mirror compact).
